THE TEAM

Lilia van Beukering (Dangermami) (she/her)
Founder & General Manager
Lilia van Beukering, aka Dangermami, is the founder and General Manager of Femme Bass Mafia (FBM), a Berlin-based mentorship collective supporting FLINTA* voices in bass music. She launched FBM in 2020 to create safer, more inclusive pathways into DJing, production, and sound system building, and has since overseen multiple mentorship cycles, residencies, workshops, and community events. With a professional background in artist relations, music PR and booking, including her current role at RSO Berlin as a curator, Lilia combines industry expertise with grassroots organizing to push for greater visibility and sustainability in electronic music culture.
As Dangermami, she’s known for her love of extensive 140-170 mixing & production explorations, elevating energies with her trippy sounds & rhythmic twists in every set, fusing classic UK sounds to modern bass music & blending dubstep, drum and bass, or footwork.
Marie Midori (she/they)
Workshops & Community Events Coordination
A kid of the 90s and heavily influenced, her childhood was spent watching MTV and producing mixtapes from radio recordings of artists such as Outkast and the Backstreet Boys. She taught herself guitar while volunteering as a scout leader, performing expletive laden love ballads around campfires and leading schoolgirls through the dark forests of Slovakia where she even survived a bear attack. After a brief stint busking on the streets of Dublin and little Irish villages to pay for her beatnik lifestyle travelling to odd corners of the globe, she then spent 3 years studying to be a German teacher before dropping out just before she graduated to become a DJ.
Marie overlooks the community events and is part of our mentor team. If you want to organise a community driven event or workshop, please reach out to them.

LUZ1E (they/she)
Content Manager & Awareness
Inspired and educated by the rich sound cultures of Detroit, Chicago, and the UK, LUZ1E has shaped her understanding of rhythms, groove, and emotional resonance. Rooted in the sonic legacy of Drexciya xxx, her productions blend breakbeats, electro, and modern bass music, merging wave-funk, bassline wiggles, percussive breaks, and bass-heavy club bouncers.
LUZ1E is renowned for her explorative hybrid textures, seamlessly merging genres. Her sound is a fluid exploration of wave-funk, bassline wiggles, percussive breaks, and bass-heavy club bouncers. Each track is a rhythmic, vibrating experience that transcends genres, offering listeners dystopian soundscapes or intricate, ethereal sounds for the soul. Their productions released under labels such as Shall not Fade, International Chrome, Mechatronica and Voitax.
Luzie is FBM’s Content Manger, coordinating our Socials and Marketing endeavours. If you have any inquiries, please contact them.
MSJY (she/her)
Education & Production Program Coordination
As MSJY, the DJ, selector and producer is unafraid to both own and shift the script. Born from OOST club of north NL, the character of MSJY continually changes form. Taking early shapes in residencies with Noorderling, De School, Griessmühle, and currently Oxi, she shifts to bill without compromising her sound and unafraid to provoke; her sets are characterised by pace, energy and a balancing of different moods. Her intricate Bass productions as MSJY as well as her more subtle project Xaded landed on the likes of Banoffee Pie Records, Berlin’s Raiders Rec and Kommerz Rec. An artist willing to unwind the norms and push the narrative.
MSJY coordinates the music production program and is part of the mentor team. For any inquires regarding the program, please reach out to her.
